How to Use Keywords in Your Blog Post for SEO Best Value

The Use of Keywords in Your Blog Post

It is important to put your keywords in your first line of your blog post. It is always great if you can add a link too in the first paragraph relating to your keyword. This could be a prior post that you have written, or it could be a link on your website that you have relevant information. Google sees you as credible if you can link to some other information you have written - if all else fails, link to wikipedia - they wont steal your clients and they are a great source of credible information.

Google also loves YouTube videos. If you have a video of your own, embed it in your post. The video needs to be keyword optimized for best SEO value, but just add video, you can always fix it later.

You need to write about 300 words in your blog post, but do not stress if you cannot find 300 words to say. Rather write original posts with interesting and relevant content for your target market and target keyword. Your keyword density should not exceed 3% of the total number of words in your blogpost. If you use it more than that, Google could penalize your content as it is called "keyword stuffing." This blogpost has topped 540 words so i can comfortably use my keyword 16 times.

Remember to add pictures that have labels, important niche words and have your meta tags completed. It all helps with the SEO value of your content. Link your content to outside websites provided they are credible and provided you don't loose your clients to that site. Think carefully.

Then finally in the very last line of your post, I want your to confirm the heading of your blog post. When the spiders search, they look at the title of the post, they look at the heading to see if its relevant, then it scans the content and pictures looking for the keywords and to be sure that the post is relating to the information the searcher has put in to the search bar. Then it looks at the last line to find the end of the post and that is why I like to finish up repeating the heading so it confirms the information is legitimate. Use keywords and content that help people find you.

Now lets just look over this blog post. Have we used out target word enough? Do you even know how to find what words and phrases people are searching for the most in your area of expertise. Be sure you use the Google Keyword Planner tool to maximize your impact in the search results.

Once you have written a post, share it to Google+, onto your Facebook page - you could even boost the post if you are selling something - and then once you have done that you could share the link in an email to your relevant group in your database. Your blog post could take an hour or so to write a keyword rich relevant and interesting content and within an hour and or two you have a great amount of information shared to your specific target market. How awesome is that?

I hope this blogpost has taught you how to use keywords in your blog post.
